If They Only Knew….+ #GIVEAWAY !

A few weeks ago I sent a shout out into cyberspace asking for bloggers that would be willing to host me during my debut novel blog tour. The response I got was absolutely awesome! Wonderfully kind ladies came forward offering to help promote ‘When the Real Thing Comes Along’. Some I’ve known for the last year through following their blogs and some I’ve just ‘met’. They’re all my bosom buddies as a result.

I’m an unusual person. I’ve made my peace with that, but sometimes I’m reminded of just how weird I am and it freaks me out. The dream I had the other night is proof positive that I’ll never have access to #TeamNormal.

Picture it: Memphis, Tennessee 2015. I open the door of my home and all of my bosom buddies are standing on my porch with a copy of ‘When the Real Thing Comes Along’ in their hands. In classic hood style I invite them in and we all turn up; throwing our hands in the air, and waving my book around like we just don’t care. It was an epic night of dancing, book discussions and exclamations of “You look so different in person!” You know, typical nerd like shenanigans.

I woke up with a smile on my face, happy that the love of my cyber bosom buddies and the questionable decision to eat buffalo wings late at night combined to create the perfect storm for the release party of my dreams. Literally.

So you can imagine how thrilled I am to invite you to get to know these fabulous bloggers (and me) a little bit better by following along as I tour with them today! Don’t by shy. Click on the links/pics. We’re all family here.

My Wife's BabyTitle: My Wife’s Baby

Author: R. M. Johnson

Genre: Urban Fiction

Description:

Does the love for a wife and the jealousy for an infant, warrant murder?

After ten years of bad dates and worse relationships, Stan is in heaven, for he has finally found his soul mate, Erica—a beautiful, caring woman who shares all his beliefs, to include not wanting children. They discussed this over bottles of red wine the night they met and promised, if ever they became a couple, they would remain childless and forever the other’s priority.
One year after being married, Erica tells Stan she’s pregnant: news she’s very happy about. Stan considers talking Erica out of it, but that would mean aborting her child, something he knows Erica would never do.

Two months into the pregnancy, Stan notices changes: times he and Erica enjoyed as a fun-loving childless couple are no longer; Erica’s attention is occupied with all things related to the forthcoming baby, and Stan has gone without sex for months.

The child arrives and things get even worse; Stan feels like an outsider: a stranger living among his wife and her son. Erica gives all her time, attention and love to the infant, leaving none for her husband. Stan becomes envious; he looks at the newborn as a threat, tells himself something must be done—but what? He fights his jealous thoughts, knowing horrible things would happen if he were ever to act on them. But one night while drunk, Stan attempts to make love to his wife but is once again rejected. His pride hurt and feeling disowned, Stan stumbles into the baby’s room with intentions of eliminating his problem once and for all, knowing there can only be one man in Erica’s life. That is the promise his wife had made him on the night they met, and it is the promise he intends to make her keep.

Author: Quanie Miller

Genre: Paranormal Fiction

Book Description: In the small town of Carolville, Louisiana, no one knows that Adira Collins inherited mystic powers from her great-grandmother. All they know is that she’s beautiful, poised, graceful, and ruthless—especially when it comes to love. And no one knows that more than Leena Williams, who was all set to marry the man of her dreams until Adira swooped into town and stole the man’s heart.

Being left at the altar is bad enough, but Leena and her ex share custody of their son, so she has to see the new Mrs. Collins on a regular basis.

And it burns every time she does.

But soon, Leena starts to suspect that there is more to Adira Collins than meets the eye. And it’s not because she owns some kinky lingerie shop or allegedly insulted the pastor’s wife—it’s the strange way she can make a door close without touching it, or take one look at something and make it drop dead at her feet.

Leena starts digging for answers and soon discovers that, unlike her public persona, Adira’s true nature is somewhere on the other side of grace. She also learns, a little too late, that some secrets are better left buried.

Paint meBook Title: Paint Me Gone

Author: Molly Greene

Genre: Mystery/Women Sleuths

Gen’s client, Sophie Keene, revives the case when an unsigned painting that depicts her sister in unmistakable detail finds its way into Sophie’s hands. The painting holds the key to the missing woman’s story, and as Gen unravels the mystery, the threads of her own complicated romantic life fray out of control.

In need of help, Gen turns to old friend and one-time romantic interest SFPD Detective Mackenzie Hackett and his insider access to the cold case file, and is forced to fully confront her feelings for the man after their unresolved past.
