A few weeks ago I sent a shout out into cyberspace asking for bloggers that would be willing to host me during my debut novel blog tour. The response I got was absolutely awesome! Wonderfully kind ladies came forward offering to help promote ‘When the Real Thing Comes Along’. Some I’ve known for the last year through following their blogs and some I’ve just ‘met’. They’re all my bosom buddies as a result.
I’m an unusual person. I’ve made my peace with that, but sometimes I’m reminded of just how weird I am and it freaks me out. The dream I had the other night is proof positive that I’ll never have access to #TeamNormal.
Picture it: Memphis, Tennessee 2015. I open the door of my home and all of my bosom buddies are standing on my porch with a copy of ‘When the Real Thing Comes Along’ in their hands. In classic hood style I invite them in and we all turn up; throwing our hands in the air, and waving my book around like we just don’t care. It was an epic night of dancing, book discussions and exclamations of “You look so different in person!” You know, typical nerd like shenanigans.
I woke up with a smile on my face, happy that the love of my cyber bosom buddies and the questionable decision to eat buffalo wings late at night combined to create the perfect storm for the release party of my dreams. Literally.
So you can imagine how thrilled I am to invite you to get to know these fabulous bloggers (and me) a little bit better by following along as I tour with them today! Don’t by shy. Click on the links/pics. We’re all family here.

I enjoyed your interview with Kate Loveton and learning more about you. This is our second meeting. The first was your featuring Kate’s story. Love the cover of the book and the story sounds intriguing.

I remember you! Who can forget a blog name like ‘Lets Cut the Crap!’. Every time I see I’m all, “It’s about to get real.”
I’m in love with the cover too, but of course I’m biased. 😉 Thanks for stopping by!

Hey Faith, I have dreams like that all the time. Does that mean I won’t ever be part of #TeamNormal? Think about this: what if we are normal and the rest of the world is abnormal? Hmmm, food for thought. 😉
Anyway, I am super duper excited to have you on my blog, Princess of the Light, for an author interview on Tuesday, February 17th! 🙂
Shenanigan on!!!

LOL, I’m shenaniganin (?) all over the place today!
I always quote Maya Angelou in my head when I think of being a little different, “If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be.”
And I’m looking forward to hanging out @ Princess of the Light on Tuesday!

Hi Faith! It’s nice to stop by your place here and meet you and your writing!
What a welcoming blog you have. So glad to connect.
As far as dreams go, I have some really crazy ones. Mostly about my children’s books and some past experiences. If I ever have a good idea, I try to write them down in my journal next to my bed. But sometimes, I am too tired and promise myself I will remember in the morning. This never happens, lol

Hi Gina! It’s nice to meet you too. I’m guilty of not writing things down at the time of inspiration too. It sucks when you can’t have total recall later. I just write down as much as I remember when I finally get around to it and hope for the best!
